Every Sunday when I was a boy my father would organize a neighborhood athletic game (football, baseball or basketball, depending on the season) in Tyler Park just across the street from our house in Iowa (spring, summer and fall) or the nearby elementary school gym (winter).  That's my dad to the far left, my brother Jim on the far right with the ball, me in the middle with the dark blue sweatshirt, my sisters Annie, Marcy and Cathy, my brother Tom, and three friends.  With 12 brothers and sisters and a neighborhood full of childrenTyler_Park_Football.jpg

there was never a problem getting a game together.  Inevitably there would be some pushing, someone would fall, skin their knees or get their feelings hurt and start whining or crying.  My father would immediately soothe the injured by administering the verbal "sure cure".  Check out the "Sure Cure" video below and learn the valuable lesson my dad taught me regarding the simplicity of healing.
